Author's POV:
The Rajput Bhavan was glowing in the dark night of Rajasthan.The entrance was decorated with pink and white roses ,a plush red silk carpet led the way to the main hall which was golden themed.Each detail in the bhavan was carved by professional hands .
A woman in her 20s was setting the kalash with rice for the grihapravesh of the newly wed and another woman also in her 20s was roaming behind her like a puppy.
A voice that sounded like honey and butter calls out ,“Tara mera pallu chod, Ghar pe itne kaam her aur tujhe Mera pallu pakadna he hmm?"She yaps while putting her hands on her hips.
Tara pouted as she kept pulling on her pallu,“Kya yaar di you are no fun"Just as the other woman was about to respond ,a stern voice interrupted them.“Tara ye kya tarika he apni bhabhi se baat karne ka ,aur hum tumhe kitni baar kahe ki Radha ko tum Bhabhi nahi toh jethani ji bulaya Karo, aur Radha tum toh uski jethani ho na apni devrani ko sambhal nahi sakti kya ?".
Both the young women turned to look at the stern orthodox old lady ,Shrimati Vedika ji aka dadi ji.Radha nervously responds,“Nahi Nahi Dadi ji Tara k-"Tara cuts off Radha in a defiant voice,“It's 21st century Dadi ,Aur men inhe di hi bulaungi hum ye orthodox way of speaking nhi follow karte,Apke aur humare generation men bhaut farak he par apko badalti duniya ke saath badalna hoga"
Vedika fiercely glares at Tara with the fire of her own,“Tara jabse tum shaadi karke humare ghar ayi ho tabse humne tumhe kaha hai ,log badal jaye,ya duniya badal jaye, sanskaar kavi nahi badalte nahi badlenge."
Before Tara could respond again and the daily fight starts Radha pacifies the situation “ Dadi ji ap jayiye apko pandit ji bula rahe the ". Vedika glares at both Tara and Radha then leaves.
A sigh of relief leaves Radha's mouth ,“ufoo ,Thank God." “Di ap bas Thank God kehte raho aur har baar ap us orthodox mahila se mujhe baat karne nahi dete"Tara says in a defiant accusatory tone.Radha pulls Tara's ear “Wo orthodox mahila Teri grandmother in law he bete "
Tara whines and right then a little sweet voice from behind says,“hehe Tara chachi phir se daant kha rhi he mumma se ".Radha and Tara both turn to see a giggling Ara .Tara playfully glares at Ara and goes to her like a tiger catching his prey,“Achaa beta ji ab Chachi pe hansi aa rhi he hmm",Radha laughs as Tara catches Ara and starts tickling her.
Ara runs from Tara while looking back and laughing just as she turned her face forward she bumps into a wall and falls on her butt.Radha and Tara both go towards her as they watch Ara look up and see that she bumped into Atharv's leg not a wall.“Papaaaaa"Tears Gathered in Ara's eyes as she accusingly looks up at Atharv.
The 6'3 man's heart dropped when he saw his little princess get teary eyed as he picked her up quickly ,“Princess apko lagi toh nahi betu"His always chilling and calculated voice that sent shivers down people's spine and was enough to make someone beg for death came out soft and worried.The man who the whole world feared is the same man who couldn't handle watching a tear in his daughter's eye.
In the meantime Radha and Tara reached there.Radha scolds Ara“bola tha na mat dauda kar Ghar me choti saitaan",Tara watches as Ara sniffles and complains to her papa about her mumma.
“Papa, mumma dant rhi he"Tara pouts and Atharv's heart melts looking at the innocent pout of his little princess.Then Tara says while putting her hands on her hip ,“oye chotu avi Ghar pe daud kon raha tha hmm ,mumma ne toh isiliye daanta". Ara sticks her tongue out to Tara “uwwuuu ap vi toh daant khaye the ne mujhe kya bol rhi he haa".
Atharv held back a chuckle seeing his little princess's attitude as Radha shakes her head and laughs.Tara playfully glares at Ara,“Lo ji ye vi koi tarika he apni Chachi se baat karne ka"She said while mimicking dadi ,“dekh lo Atharv humari beti Puri Tara 2.0 banti Jaa rhi he "Radha says while laughing as Ara keeps sticking her tongue out.
Then comes a calm voice from behind Atharv,“achi baat he na Radha,ek aur lady boss humare Ghar pe "They all turn to look at Aarav who came towards them as he took Ara from Atharv.
Tara flips her hair proudly,that lands straight in Radha's face.“Tara ki bachi"Radha brushes off Tara's hair.“Di avi tak Tara ki bachi nahi hui "Tara says while grinning like a Cheshire cat making Aarav freeze while patting Ara's head and making Atharv look at Aarav with amusement.
“Wo bhi jaldi ho jayega,he na bhaiya",Radha says while grinning at Aarav as Ara had already slipped away from there ,“pakka ji" Tara says while hooking an arm under Aarav's bicep.
The 6'2 man who the world feared for his cruelty and lethality, chuckles as he tucks his wife close,Just then they all heard the voice of Nandini calling them outside for the grihapravesh of the Youngest newly wed.
Everyone had their own opinion about the sudden marriage of the youngest but no one voiced it cause the groom himself accepted the marriage without any protest but Tara couldn't hold back her tongue anymore.“kya Abhi bhaiya is shaadi ko nibha payenge?"She asked to no one in particular.
In the defence of her son Nandini retorts back,“kyu nahi nibya payega wo ,kya khaami he mere bete men ?",No one said another word not even Tara as they waited for the newly wed to arrive.
Everyone was shocked when Abhimanyu agreed for the wedding after years of convincing from Nandini and Vedika.After she had left him ,he was never the same .He still was the most light hearted amongst them but they say “If the person carries it well doesn't mean it's not heavy". After her,he didn't believe in Love anymore just lust.
It was an understatement to say that he had flaws ,but he wasn't the same man ,a girl would swoon over for love but someone who would make anyone weak on their knees.Vedika ,Nandini and Divya fixed this marriage without any rituals or ceremonies not even engagement,just straight to the marriage that with a girl who is 12 years younger than him.
Everyone was brought back to reality when the Entry gate of the Mansion opened indicating the arrival of the newly wed.
